Korie McGreevy | Super Saturday at Knockhill Racing Circuit.

Century Racing’s McGreevy qualified 2nd for tomorrow’s race at Knockhill Circuit. McGreevy took his maiden Superstock 600 win by just 0.009s at Knockhill last year.

After a trying start to the season, McGreevy has managed to score 45 points from 2 rounds, leaving him 4th in the championship going into this weekend’s action. He must bridge an 18 point gap to the lead of the championship. Friday’s opening session left McGreevy with some work to do, however he managed to dig deep and finish day 1 in 2nd position.

As the Superstock 600 qualifying session got underway, it was clear that McGreevy meant business. He went about the 30 minute session, consistently setting solid times, and proving he has the pace for tomorrow’s race. McGreevy remains confident for tomorrow’s race and is ready to battle for victory, from 2nd on the grid.

As the Great British weather always does, mother nature threw a curveball during Saturday’s proceedings. This saw torrential rain, thunder and lightning delay the Superbike qualifying, leading to the remaining sessions post-Superbike to be cancelled.

A revised schedule has been issued which sees the Superstock 600 morning Warm Up Practice taking place at 9:06am. The Superstock 600 race is set to be run at the original time of 12:40pm.
